A family locksmith with over 35 years of experience
La Casa de las Llaves was founded around 1988 by Juan Ignacio Aranda Alcántara, who already had 20 years’ experience as a locksmith. Together with his wife, María del Carmen, he opened the first specialist key and lock shop in the Marbella, San Pedro de Alcántara, Benahavís and Estepona area.
Today the family still runs the business with the same values: a personal service, quality work and clear prices before we start.

How quickly can you get to me if I am locked out?
It depends on where you are and the time of day, but being based in San Pedro de Alcántara we usually reach Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, Puerto Banús, Estepona and Benahavís quickly. We will give you an estimate when you call.
Do you tell me the price before starting?
Yes. Before we start we explain what needs to be done and how much it will cost, so there are no surprises.
Can you copy my car key with a chip?
Yes, we copy transponder (chip) car keys. Bring the original key and the vehicle model and we will tell you if it is possible and the price.
Do you copy garage remotes?
Yes, we copy most garage remote controls. Ideally bring the original remote so we can check the frequency and system.
Do you speak English?
Yes, we look after international residents and visitors on the Costa del Sol.
